Silicone Scar Treatment with ScarAway®
The treatment of scars has been of great interest to plastic surgeons, hospitals, and burn centers for many years. Since the discovery of the tremendous benefits of silicone in the treatment of scars in the early 1980's, studies have been conducted to find what type of silicone is the most effective.
While creams, gels, and liquids have entered the market with some success, over-all they tend to be messy, malodorous, and lack in effectiveness. On the other hand, silicone scar sheeting is clean, odorless, and proven effective. ScarAway® is the only silicone scar treatment with proven Silon® technology used in burn centers and by plastic surgeons.
